HYDROFORMED STEP DOWN FRAME

S-Electro Stepdown features a double butted hydroformed alloy frame with integrated motor mount and internal battery. The step in the frame is designed for improved clearance during use – easier mounting as well as a more comfortable bike to use in traffic. Hydroforming means that the frame can have thinner sidewalls, complex shapes and curves that makes it stronger and lighter than comparative alloy frames with regular tubing. Hydroforming is the process of forcing tubing into a negative mold with internal pressurised oil and or water, resulting in stronger – lighter tubes. The combination of oversize downtube and hydroforming, makes for a very strong frame.
